Purpose

Almost half of Indonesians lives in rural villages where they depend on the land and environment to survive. Trees and agriculture have a direct effect on economic prosperity. Due to wide spread deforestation across Indonesian farmers are more desperate than in previous years.

Trees for Lives restores the land by planting trees. Planting a variety of different trees such as, Rubber, Teak and Mahogany creates economic opportunities. Trees for Lives is investing into people and the earth by fighting deforestation and instituting environmental restoration.

Recognizing the connection between the environment and poverty has given us an opportunity to transform the lives of those in need by simply planting trees. This transformation “All starts with a seed.” Trees represent hope and an opportunity for a better life.
